What is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

Lake Buena Vista Aesthetics offers microneedling treatments utilizing state-of-the-art radiofrequency (RF) technology to provide outstanding outcomes for our patients. RF remedies have been around for a number of years and are popular in the aesthetics industry for their skin tightening effects. This specific type of treatment utilizes heat to stimulate the creation of collagen deep within the skin to reveal a firmer, smoother surface. At our Orlando, FL, office, we use Morpheus8 and SkinPen technology to help our patients achieve firmer skin, a much smoother texture, and a glowing complexion. For more information, contact our team to schedule a one-on-one consultation today.

How Does RF Microneedling Work?

At Lake Buena Vista Aesthetics, we perform RF microneedling utilizing technology such as Morpheus8 or the SkinPen. The tool used will largely depend on the area being treated. For either procedure, we will begin by utilizing a topical numbing cream to help you remain comfortable. The handheld microneedling device contains small needles that are rolled gently against the skin to puncture and create micro-injuries that "disrupt" the cells and stimulate the production of collagen. Combined with radiofrequency technology, this treatment allows us to optimize the results for our Orlando, FL patients. You can anticipate small pinpoint scabs to appear 24 – 72 hours after the session, which will naturally disappear when the skin has healed. Typically, you should notice results as your skin heals over 3 – 4 weeks. Optimal results generally call for 3 – 4 treatments one month apart.

This is the best place. No soreness swelling or even pain at injection sight. Highly recommend! Your work is done by a highly rated surgeon and it’s not overpriced!

I have tried this establishment twice now. Once in December and once in January. They never try to sell you more than you need. The posts regarding the time are true. The wait is always ridiculously long, even when you are the only one in the building. However, not injecting more than what you need is a real bonus. I look forward to coming back.

Does RF microneedling hurt?

After a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area, you should have minimal pain during treatment. During the procedure, we will ask you to make sure you are comfortable. When the anesthetic wears off, you might feel mild discomfort for a short time as your skin is healing itself.

How many RF microneedling treatments should I get?

Every person is unique — so some individuals may need more procedures compared to other patients. Our staff will perform a complete evaluation of your skin and listen to your needs and goals to help determine the appropriate number of sessions for you. On average, many patients receive 3 – 4 treatments spaced one month apart.

Can I combine RF microneedling with other treatments?
Even though RF microneedling delivers wonderful outcomes by itself, you might think about combining it with another treatment for more improvements. During your initial consult, we will ask about your concerns and goals about your skin before recommending RF microneedling and/or complementary treatments.
